Windscreen Wash
Do I need to use screenwash or can I just use water?
When you need to top up your windscreen wash, you may wonder if you can simply use water instead of the specialised cleaning fluid. That may work in countries with a more temperate climate where freezing isn’t an issue, but even then, water isn’t able to effectively clean off all the dirt, grime, insects etc that collect on the windscreen. Specially formulated windscreen wash generally does a better job than water, and it normally includes anti-freeze for those cold winter nights.
If you’re still not sure, or you’re not quite certain how to top up the windscreen wash, give the team at Shaw's Service Station EV a call for advice. Alternatively, just pop in with your car to our workshop in Rhyl, and we’ll be happy to help you out.

Checking your screen wash is an important part of your car’s maintenance; as part of Servicesure’s VisionSure scheme, Shaw's Service Station EV is pleased to offer a free screen wash top-up service for life as a thank-you for your repeat custom.
