Established in 2021 to meet the growing demand in Rhyl for specialist EV and hybrid servicing and repairs, Shaw's Service Station EV is now the go-to garage for all discerning drivers of electric and hybrid cars in the area.

Who are Shaw's Service Station EV?

Shaw's Service Station EV is owned and managed by the same family team that run our sister garage, Shaw’s Service Station with busy branches in both Rhyl and Kimnel Bay. We’ve established this specialist facility to cater for the increasing numbers of EVs and hybrid cars on the roads, and you’ll find the same high standards of work and customer service that you’d expect at any of the Shaw’s Service Station sites.

What we do at Shaw's Service Station EV

We provide a comprehensive range of garage services for hybrid and electric vehicles, from working on the high-voltage electrical system and battery, to mechanical repairs for the hybrid engine. Of course, we look after all components and systems that straddle both electric and hybrid cars such as steering, suspension, tyres and brakes and carry out MOT testing and in-warranty servicing. We work from a fully-equipped workshop on Glan Y Morfa Industrial Estate in Rhyl which includes specialist Sealey tools for working on EVs, and Bosch KTS diagnostic software.

Embracing new developments in our industry allows us to offer a full package of repairs and services for drivers in the Rhyl area. Over the last few years, our team have trained and qualified in the repair and maintenance of electric and hybrid vehicles reaching the highest level of training currently available. We also have a technician who is Tesla-trained, and as such, we are able to work on all makes and models of electric and hybrid vehicles.

And, we are thrilled to have been approved into HEVRA, a network of the top EV and hybrid specialist workshops across the country, proving that all of our hard work and training has paid off.
